Q&A
Girls clothing for senior pictures?
Girls should have lipstick, makeup, brush, and extra tops at least 6 to 8. Vary your style with tank tops, polo, button-downs (avoid any neon colors) Be sure to keep tan lines in mind when choosing your tops. Jeans, light and dark along with capris or dresses.
Guys clothing for senior pictures?
Guys will need to bring 6 to 8 tops….like t-shirts, polo, button-down, sweaters. (avoid any neon colors or anything with large logos) Jeans, light and dark along with shorts look great. Guys make sure you shave the day before when needed.
Do you have a Studio?
No to keep cost low I have opted not to have a studio. All pictures will be taken on location-outdoors. At your location or at one of my 100+ locations.
Colors that photograph the best?
Colors such as black, charcoal, blue, navy, red, burgundy, forest, green, tan, pink, purple.
Colors that DO NOT photograph the best?
Shirts with over-sized logos, neon or pastel.
What if I wear glasses?
Transitional or glare free glasses should be avoided. These will block the subjects eyes from the shots. Extra retouching will be needed and is not included with the package. Let me know if you have concerns on this.
What about braces?
I’ll take many shots of you smiling and not smiling that way you have a selection to choose from. I do remove braces but it is an additional charge of $30 per file to edit out.
What about acne?
Basic acne removal is included with all the packages. More extensive removal will be an additional charge.
Should I try a new hair style?
I don’t recommend trying the day of the session. Maybe a few days before just to make sure you like it.
Tanning?
Tanning is OK. I DO NOT recommend self tanning creams, or spray tans. They tend to turn the skin orange and is almost impossible to fix in post.
Props?
There is no additional charge for props that I have or can get. I have a large selection of older cars and trucks. Many of the locations I shoot at will have props there.
Types of payments accepted?
Discover,Visa, MasterCard, Debit cards, American Express, Checks and cash.
When to book?
NOW! I normally stay booked out for about 2 months. Weekends always go first.
What if it rains?
This is a word I do not like in my business, but it does happen. We would have to reschedule to the next date available.
Refunds?
Absolutely NO refunds under any circumstance, this also includes any deposit made in advance or package paid in full. On any of my packages or services.
How long to I have to view my proofs on your website?
2 weeks from the time the gallery link is sent to you. A $20 charge to re-activate the gallery will be charged outside of the 2 weeks. The pictures will only be keep for 1 month unless other arrangements are made with me ahead of time.
OKAY, I’VE BOOKED MY SESSION – WHERE DO WE TAKE THEM?
With my style of shooting, I love to use the world that surrounds us as our backdrop. I love a great urban setting with lots of fun colors, textures and little hidden spots that turn out to be fantastic scenery in your photos. Then there is always that perfect rural/rustic setting which brings a whole new sense of serenity and peaceful quality to the photos. Either works great for any session, just depends on what you are looking for! I have tons of pre-sought-out locations but would love to hear any recommendations you may have!

At our location, we will chat about the ideas you have. You may be nervous, but you really don’t have to – I’m very easy to get along with and will make you feel comfortable. No need to worry about how you’re going to pose, I will be instructing you along the way & after a couple minutes I’m sure you will love it so much you will be happy to strike your own poses!

You will receive a ‘sneak peek’ so you are not waiting too long. I know you can’t wait to see the results! Within 5-7 (maybe longer for Seniors and Weddings) days I will send you a link to your online gallery so you can view them with your friends and family and share them on Facebook and all your social media platforms.
